Os Xaverianos do 1º Ano do Ensino Fundamental estão estudando os 5 sentidos. No dia 14/03 eles realizaram uma atividade com massinha, que teve o objetivo explicar de forma prática o funcionamento do tato. No início da aula, os Xaverianos relacionaram os ingredientes necessários para a experiência e foi trabalhado o vocabulário necessário para a execução da atividade. Depois, eles foram para o laboratório de ciências para a parte prática e, com o auxílio da professora e auxiliares, fizeram suas massinhas, misturando todos os ingredientes com as mãos e experimentando as diferentes texturas e sensações cada vez que se adicionava mais água ou mais farinha à massa. Ao final da atividade, eles levaram as massinhas para casa.

Xaverianos from the 1st grade study the five senses during English classes

During this month of March, the first graders have been studying the five senses. On March 14th, they  had the opportunity to make playdough from scratch, aiming to learn in a practical way how touch works.

In the beginning of the class, the Xaverianos listed the necessary ingredients for the experiment. Then, they went to the Science lab and, together with the teacher and teacher assistants, they made their playdough, mixing all ingredients with their own hands and feeling the different textures and sensations everytime they would add either more water or more flower. In the end, they took the playdough home.
