Food art
All along this month of April, during the English classes, the 3rd graders have been studying all about food, including eating habits, food groups and the life cycle of plants, integrating English with Science contents. On April 11th and 12th, following this pedagogical approach, the subject was also integrated with Arts. On the first class, the Xaverianos studied the art of the Italian Giuseppe Arcimboldo. After getting acquainted with his style, they were the artists themselves, creating their pieces of art out of grains like rice, beans and lentils.

Ao longo do mês de abril, os Xaverianos do 3º ano estudaram durante as aulas em inglês sobre alimentos, hábitos alimentares, grupos alimentares e até o ciclo das plantas, relacionando assim o conteúdo às aulas de ciências. Nos dias 11 e 12/04, seguindo a proposta pedagógica, foi a vez da aula de inglês relacionada com a aula de artes. Inicialmente os Xaverianos se apropriaram das obras do artista italiano Giuseppe Arcimboldo. Depois, foi a vez de colocarem a mão na massa, criando seus próprios quadros a partir de grãos, como arroz, feijão e lentilha.
