Have you ever heard of the scientific method? On March 25th, the students from kindergarten had the chance to try it for the first time, creating a hypothesis, testing it and taking notes on the results. Their first task was to identify the objects needed for the experiment and create their hypothesis on whether they were magnetic or not. Then, with the help of a magnet, they were able to test it and take notes. By doing that, they were not only introduced to the scientific method and the principles of magnetism, but also had the opportunity to use the vocabulary they’ve learned regarding school objects in a real-time situation.

Já ouviu falar de método científico? No dia 25/03, as turmas da Pré-Escola II puderam ter seus primeiros contatos com o método científico, elaborando uma hipótese, testando e fazendo anotações dos resultados. A primeira atividade foi identificar os objetos indicados na lição e elaborar as hipóteses sobre serem objetos magnéticos ou não. Depois, com um imã, eles testaram suas hipóteses e, por fim, anotaram os resultados da experiência. Dessa forma, além de terem uma iniciação ao método científico e aprenderem sobre magnetismo, eles praticaram em uma situação real o vocabulário relacionado a objetos escolares, o qual já vinha sendo adquirido durante as aulas anteriores.
